Gift for 16 year old boy

Help!
I’m putting together a Xmas hamper for a family in need (through a local charity). I’ve been told the family is a Mum and 16 year old boy - no more details! What little gifts could I put in for the boy? What brands are trendy?! I have two young DD’s and no idea what he might appreciate!!

My boys are that age and appreciate any of the sport brands- Nike, Adidas, puma. They love a lynx gift set and American chocolates. A sports water bottle might be nice and useful too.

You could also include (depending on budget)

Maybe an Amazon Gift Card, they can get what they need/want themselves.

Also, Maybe a razor set? He is at that age where he may be starting to need to shave, so would come in handy

Maybe the same for the mum, Sometimes the essentials like razors get left at the bottom of the list, (also maybe sanitary products?)

B and M and a lot of the supermarkets do imported American sweets. Bet he'd like to try some. The Works used to do things like American soft drinks too. They have unusual flavours of Fanta

TK Maxx sometimes have branded boxers in the men's section. I think they'd be a confidence boost.

Agree with the "yard of" idea. Yard of Jaffa Cakes is popular with my teens
