Christmas crafting

Someone else has mentioned this in another thread. I like the sound of that but aside from spraying pine cones with glitter paint, I'm looking for other ideas.

Anyone got any tips for some decorations?

We've made salt dough 'baubles' for the kids to paint, we can then varnish them and they'll go on the Christmas tree that's only in their room and not my main stunning 8ft beauty

I think someone on the other thread was crocheting snowflakes. I'm making Christmas bunting to hang round the house.

Are you specifically thinking tree decorations or more generally?

I'm.hoping to do Christmas bunting and I e been crocheting Christmas decorations.

Dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks could be a nice easy one too.

I could try crocheting something, as have just finished project.

I always make paper chains for the ceilings, really easy and really pretty

In the last I have...

Made bunting out of fabric.
Made tree decorations with pine cones, cinnamon and dried orange slices.
Made Christmas cushion.
Made a wreath for the front door from foraged Holly.

This year I am making felted decorations as it’s my newfound craft and I’m slightly addicted 🤣

@Lovemusic33 where did you get your patterns your felted decorations from?

I tried sewing stockings for DH, DD and I but failed.

I have sewn some placemats as a present for someone else, and am thinking about doing some for this house.

And I have made 1 cross stitch decoration for the tree and hope to make another. (I made a bunch of small felt stockings a few years ago, and usually put little candy canes in those hanging on the tree).
