Bookshops that wrap

Hello. I would like to order books directly from local bookshops that offer a gift wrapping service. Can't find any though - only Amazon that I want to avoid or Persephone- love their books but not suitable for everyone. Can anyone help?

Apologies if stating the obvious, but have you contacted any independent shops directly to ask? It may not be something they offer currently but might be able to do if asked?
