Game Consoles For the clueless!

So I’m completely clueless on games consoles

I was wanting to get a wii as I know it had games we could play together as a family and it involves movement (ie the tennis game). I’ve discovered the wii has been discontinued, any suggestions for games consoles similar to a wii?

Switch all the way, best family console there is

We all love the switch, we had the wii years ago and it’s quite similar.

We were thinking xbox but not the literally brand new one.

But we are also clueless...

Are minecract and roblox on the switch?(i assume they're all on all?)

Its just that her friends mention xbox more than switch...

Switch is particularly geared to the family market whereas PlayStation and Xbox are at the tween/teen/adult market, that's said you can get games suitable for kids on them. Switch is also very portable making me think they considered the child with two homes market in designing it, several of my divorced friends kids have them with this in mind
