Dancemat, PS2 or Switch

I think my almost 7 year old would love a dance mat. We have a Switch that her 9 year old brother mainly plays on, although I have been contemplating buying a second switch on BF as husband just got a ring fit. So could just get Just Dance (however, without buying second switch I could see bother at xmas as her brother is getting a few switch games and will be eager to play them).

Or, could get old PS2 out attic and buy dance mat and games on ebay, and package nicely.
Not sure which would be more fun, an old style dance mat or the up to date switch version. Might be annoying to have extra console and mats hanging around in cluttered house. But is stamping your feet on things more fun for 7 year old?
She hasn't asked for a Switch, but her xmas list was filled with things like flossing sloths and fur real pets, that I know she wont bother with.
Any suggestions for which please?

It depends would she be jealous of her brother if she was to get a ps2? If not I'd do the ps2.
Or If you can afford it I'd get the switch to avoid the bother. If you see that it's not met with excitement maybe you can return it and then do the ps2 and have lots of extra games
That said I'd love the dance mat for nostalgia but I'm being biased.

Dance mats are pure fun. Much more so than dubious ‘meet the criteria’ moving on the Switch, IMHO. So I’d go PS2 dance mat for the immediate impact, if she’s not pestering for airtime on the switch yet. But I don’t have two children, so my idea of sharing in the future is super polite!

The only other thing I would add is that if you are thinking of second Switch in any event, think about whether it would facilitate some of the more social games.

Thanks, i shall dig out the PS2 I think. They do play games together on the switch, so I am not completely sure that a second switch is needed.
