Oh last year's post on this was full of brilliant suggestions! A few mentioned Jan Brett, but I wasn't sure I liked the style, I did get a second hand copy of the Christmas Trolls though and I'm so glad I did, it was really loved by me and mine last year, definitely planning on getting one of the others this year.
Other favourites of mine are Alfie's Christmas, Lucy and Tom's Christms, Angel Mae and the Christmas baby, Snow in the Garden a first book of Christmas all by Shirley Hughes, and a new Dogger at Christmas has just been released if you are a fan of the original. The illustrations aren't as good in the new as the old ones but Shirley Hughes is 93 now!
We like Mog's Christmas, Stick Man, Richard Scarry Best Christmas Book Ever, Pick a Pine Tree.
For toddlers Spots Christmas and Dear Santa and a range of 'That's not my'books in Christmas theme, Pip and Posy and the Christmas tree.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, we have a huge box in the loft that I bring down begining of December. I like them more than the kids tbh.
