Design a friend/our generation

dd has an our generation doll and has been looking at Design a friend clothes and accessories as her Santa present. Would these clothes fit an our generation doll? Also, am I likely to get a discount on Design a friend? Individually the items are not too costly but she wants several! Thanks

I think they are all the same size so should fit. I don't know if the shapes of them are different though, which may affect the fit. My daughter would like a doll of this type for Xmas, so have been looking lately. I think I'll try and hold out for Black Friday - most likely the best deals will be then.

I've found that the different dolls have different feet making the shoes difficult. But the clothes etc fit. (DDs doll is from John Lewis. She has clothes and accessories sets from Argos, JL, Smyth's, and the entertainer, us home made clothes. )

Design a Friend are more slender with thinner feet. My little girl has three and then someone bought her an Our Generation doll and she has to be squeezed into the Design a Friend clothes. Most fit but some are a bit snug.

Dd has OG dolls and Designafriend ones. The clothes won't fit an OG doll as they are broader and the feet are much bigger. The Designafriend dolls are lovely though and the clothes etc are cheaper too.

My dad has never had a problem switching clothes between them including AGD and cheap eBay knockoffs

You can also get clothes on Ali express but I would order in the next few days if you want it for Christmas. I’ve had shoes from there that were very good.

Yes designer dolls are a bit slimmer than the generation dolls but not sure if designer dolls clothes would all fit generation dolls as generation dolls are brouder ie"shouders and waist so generation will fit designer but noy sure about other way round... And designer clothes fit quite snugly on the whole... I would choose designer friend dolls as they are very different to each other in eye colour.. hair colour and styles.. even face shapes are slightly different sometimes... My granddaughter loves her designer friend!!
