Hey
Has anyone got any ideas?

Got lots of girls stocking bits but only afew for my little boy

So far I've got

White chocolate coins
Father Christmas bubbles
A snowman Christmas sponge

Can anyone help me out? I usually get just cheap little bits for stockings so nothing fancy but I'm struggling for ideas - all suggestions gratefully received 🎅

Bath flutes, tea set/pots and pans - you could wrap bits up separately? My son loved his. Stacking cups. Crayons.

jpclarke · 26/10/2020 22:43

Socks, big boy underpants to plant the idea, new toothbrush. Small trucks, cars etc

BitGutted · 26/10/2020 22:44

Toy pots and pans might be good or toy food, thanks, great suggestion and crayons too will get him some

Also - excuse my ignorance but what's a tea flute??

Bath crayons.
A bath toy.
One of those "magic" flannels that grows in size when you put it in water.
A character tooth brush.
Glow in the dark socks.
A comic.
Board book.
Stickers.
A Christmas mug.

That kid soap that looks like a can of hair mousse. They can mould it and play with it in the bath.

Lanka Kade animals/figures. Mine love them and they’re reasonably priced too!

TheSmallAssassin · 26/10/2020 22:48

Bath flutes - can probably find them cheaper?

Whynotnowbaby · 26/10/2020 22:49

If you have a branch of Tiger near you, they are perfect for all your random stocking filler needs! All or most of the things mentioned so far would be there plus other things you never knew you wanted! The little dinosaurs they have went down well with my little boy when he was 2 and still do aged 4.

When my kids were small I used to buy practical things, but 'branded'. So pants, vests, socks etc with their favourite characters on them.
A new ball, character bubble bath, character flannel, new bowl and spoon set, that kind of thing.
Home bargains, B&M, Poundland etc always has loads of that kind of thing.

ACanOfBeans · 28/10/2020 14:58

Character socks, hot wheels (the individual packs), pencils/ crayons, bath duck, some little people(don’t be afraid to open packet!), stickers, small instrument like a monkey drum, snap cards (although you’ll probably use them for matching/ sorting till 3-ish!)

ACanOfBeans · 28/10/2020 14:59

Oh and the Usborne Snap cards are great.

Junobug · 28/10/2020 18:10

No!!! Don't do the bath flutes. They are so shrill, I made that mistake with DS1.
So far, my 2 year old has
Lanka Kade Dragon
Lanka kade 1-5 puzzle
Choc coins
Sticker book
10 little aliens book

I'll probably add play dough, mini orchard game, flannel, bubble bath, tooth brush, socks.

Seems a bit boring writing it down.

My 2yo will have some hot wheels wooden cars, crayons, snap cards, little power ranger toy on a bike, chocolate, match cards, soft toy.
