Tree decorations

Can anyone suggest a good place to buy nice but affordable tree decorations?

I'm having a new tree this year so have decided to get new baubles. I'm going for a nature theme in traditional colours, things like Robin's, and owls, pretty baubles decorated with holly and poinsettia's etc. So far I've bought some lovely gold glass pinecones and gold glass woodland animals from Matalan.

I was really impressed by the decorations in The Range last year. They had loads of lovely individual ones organised by colour and my favourite aisles were the ones with the more traditional colours and decorations.

I'm planning to pay a visit this week so will post an update if I spot the type of thing you're describing.

Are you near enough to a big shopping centre that would have "Christmas Magic" ( shop that appears as if by magic in a different empty shop each year ) I know Lakeside and Bluewater have them . Not been in but they have lots of glass decorations .

I looked in John Lewis ( they have some very odd ones online ) but they are £££
£8 for a tiny decoration, £12 for a much bigger version ( not a tree hanging one though)

My tree will not make an appearance this year after our dear cats attacked it last year and we admit defeat in less than 4 days
