What are you (FC) putting in your DC's stockings?

OP posts:
Someaddedsugar · 24/10/2020 20:33

DC is 3 and his will have:

  • sweets
  • stickers
  • motorbike toy (similar to hot wheels etc)
  • little lucky penguin
  • bubble bath
  • sea life torch

All things he’ll love and cost approx £10 total as didn’t want to go wild!

Sunnydaysstillhere · 24/10/2020 20:36

Was half heartedly joking Santa will be bringing new face masks this year..
And totally expecting some company to be advertising mixed spice hand sanitiser...
Sad

Fifawidow · 24/10/2020 20:36

FC brings stockings only in our house now so it's a big one! They won't be getting much under the tree from us though (in theory, I'm having trouble sticking to that Blush )

They (age 3 and 5) will each be getting:

Walter De La Mer book
Notebook
Cute pen
Minecraft Creeper Watch
Couple of bath bombs from Lush
Colour changing bubble bath
Pot of beads to make jewellery
Knitted hat or scarf and gloves
Slippers
Kids mug
Small board game (Orchard)
Soft Toy
Giant swirly lollipop
Christmas Marshmallow pop (John Lewis)
Christmas chocolate figures
Chocolate coins
Candy cane
Chocolate coins

And then a couple of small gifts each; like Lego figures for DS and my little pony figures for DD

CloudyVanilla · 25/10/2020 06:28

They will also be getting a children's fragrance each, those are quite good useful fillers I think

CloudyVanilla · 25/10/2020 06:29

Also one of those 'chocolate coins' should be a chocolate orange :)

Bickles · 25/10/2020 06:34

DS8:
Plush Baby Yoda, Wrecking Ball wimpy kid book, Room of requirement Lego set, Chocolate frog, Chocolate wand, Chocolate golden snitch, HP Socks, Sorting hat key ring, Harry Potter stationery set, Harry Potter lego blind bags, Hobbit Lego blind bag, dinosaur rubbers, temporary tattoos.

jomaIone · 25/10/2020 06:52

I'm trying to stick to the rhyme for my 2 year old stocking.

Something you want - ducks for her bath
Something you need - Bubble bath
Something to wear - socks (can't have a stocking without socks)
Something to read - Cbeebies magazine
Something to eat - Chocolate coins & Clementine
Something to drink - chocolate milk straws
Something to make your brain think - mini board game of some kind!

Ellapaella · 25/10/2020 07:57

I have 3 DC - 18, 10 and 6, all boys.
18 year olds stocking is already done.
10 year old so far I have:
Lovely velour PJ's from M&S
Slippers
Beanie hat
Face mask (yes he loves those clay ones that heat up 😂)
Lush Christmas bath bomb
A book
A hardback notepad (nice one)
New artists colouring pencils
Hot chocolate bauble
V bucks chocolate coins
Sweets and Chocs, coins etc

6 year old:
Sausage dog slippers from John Lewis
Velour PJ's (marvel super hero ones)
Fortnite figures
Lush Christmas pudding bath bomb
Book
Colouring pens and notepad
Sweets, chocs etc.

My eldest has always said his favourite part of Christmas is his stocking, the younger two seem to get more excited over coming downstairs to find stuff under the tree so I won't go overboard on their stockings.

Last year we each had a little present at the dinner table as well which was nice, I think I'll do that again.

WeeM · 25/10/2020 09:23
