Any ideas for reusable wrapping paper?

I was looking for an option for DH, who hilariously cannot wrap presents. Every year I wrap everything except what he has bought for me, and he spends a laborious 4 hours or so, swearing over the sellotape while he tries to wrap 3 or 4 things for me.

So I thought about gift bags, and then thought it would be good that they can be reused each year, so that might be a good idea for all of the presents rather than just the ones DH “wraps”.

I initially thought of something like these which are like foil drawstring bags, but I suspect they could only be reused a couple of times.

Then I though plain cotton bags like these, and we could decorate them.

Any other thoughts for a reusable option?

We’ve received some gifts in Amazon gift wrapping that are in really good quality fabric bags. They’re properly reusable and It would be impossible to mess up the wrapping process. They are drawstring, so they properly close to hide the present. They are sparkly enough to look very festive too. We use them for any presents for each other in the house now - so much easier and less wasteful than paper.

I made fabric bags a few years ago, with drawstrings. Also squares of fabric I wrap up with ribbon instead of sellotape. I can't recommend the bags enough, they take nothing to use!

Here's one I made earlier.... It has a felt G on it for my friend Gilly.

That’s a good idea. I could just make some. When the kids were little I used to make loads for all sorts of things. I could probably get some really nice christmassy fabric quite cheaply too because it could just be pollycotton.

I've both you linked to.
I like the Christmas bags for the scenes. And they're reusable, likewise I've reused paper/card bags.
The material bags I've decorated, though predominantly for birthdays atm.
