Books for 11 year old boy

Have seen a few for girls and looking for some inspiration for my son!
He has read most of Muchamore, riordan, Horowitz, Grisham for teens... A great reader if I say do myself!
He loves the idea of studying law in the future- any recommendations of series specifically? He loves to kill a mockingbird and has read a lot of the typical greats...

I read the Northern Lights trilogy about this age and liked it.
Theodore Boone series, although he has probably read them already
My 10yo boy liked the Sophie McKenzie books Blood Ties and Girl Missing which do have a crime sort of feel about them

Thanks Kanaloa, will try the Northern Lights, he loved the Theodore Boone. Thinking maybe I should let him read the adult Grisham ones as don't remember them being very bad, more just gripping...

My son loves James Dashner books. He loved Maze Runner and 13th Reality series.
I recently bought the Chaos Walking trilogy for him by Patrick Ness but my husband got to them first! He says they are brilliant and really gripping but a bit dark so we may hold off another year but may be worth a look?

Recently, he’s really enjoyed Pig Heart Boy, Skulduggery Pleasant, Boy at the back of the class and Roll of thunder, hear my cry.

My similar age DS loves the Sherlock Holmes series. He really enjoys things like Treasure Island and Percy Jackson too. Harry Potter obviously and the Poirot series.
