My mum is badgering me about what I want from her and my dad this year and I have literally no idea.

I'm a single mum of 5 so I don't really think about Xmas for myself but my mum and dad go all out on us (3 kids and 9 grandkids)
For us adults they spend £120 each, what the hell do I want?!?

Through some ideas at me please Smile

New coat? New boots? New straighteners? New make up? New outfit? Nice bracelet? Small Dressing table?

Littlehouseinthebigcity · 18/10/2020 19:21

New boots!? I found some around that price that I want but can't think who I could ask for them!

BitchyHen · 18/10/2020 19:22

Do you want a new coat or winter boots? I always used to ask for these when my children were young as there was never enough money to buy things for me.

RippleEffects · 18/10/2020 19:23

Nice bluetooth headphones so you can escape into your own world sometimes.

Cheesypea · 18/10/2020 19:25

Can I swap parents- small piece of furniture? Or a complete outfit?

BakewellGin1 · 18/10/2020 19:26

My DM asked me the same thing...
She's bought me boots, coat, jeans and two jumpers as although my kids walk around head to toe in lovely clothes I'm Primarks dream ha ha

lozengeoflove · 18/10/2020 19:28

Perfume, day away from everyone, candles, booze, fancy food hamper, new stuff for the kitchen, shoes, clothes, books, makeup?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 18/10/2020 19:36

Really fancy skincare or toiletries?

If someone was spending 120£ on me I'd ask for:

new running shoes
Fancy moisturiser and serums
New hiking boots
Leather jacket
New Balance trainers

Lovemusic33 · 18/10/2020 20:10

My mum only spends about £10 on me and it’s usually socks and some smellies that I can’t use (eczema). If I could ask for something them I would probably ask for...

A new coffee machine or the hotel chocolate got chocolate thingy.
Maybe a voucher for a activity (wing walking) 🤣.
Some good walking boots or
A weighted blanked and a oodie.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 18/10/2020 21:07

Winter coat
Boots
Handbag
New bedding
Perfume/body cream
Outfit

Inthetropics · 18/10/2020 22:01

I usually want stuff i NEED but a better version. Good quality pair of shoes, new purse/bag, very nice jeans, jewelry i can use daily, nice food, this sort of stuff.

Pepperwand · 19/10/2020 12:57

If someone was going to spend that amount on me I'd want a Hotel Chocolat velvetiser.

Present budget for adults is much smaller here but on my list is:

Weighted blanket
Malbec wine
Eyebrow tweezers with built in light
Hot cloth cleanser
Bath Salts
Chocolate
Puzzle books
Scented candle
Truffle honey
Cheeses and nice crackers
Perfume

Ahhh let them spoil you OP! On my list this year:

  • New handbag
  • Hush joggers
  • White Company candle/shower gel
  • New food mixer
Mrsfussypants1 · 19/10/2020 13:13

A kindle with light (the new basic one with light), pjs set with socks (primark), candle (aldi jo malone dupe)and sweets i think that take it up to £120. Perfect to unwind in bed after the kids have gone to sleep and some you time.

Mrsfussypants1 · 19/10/2020 13:14

I haven't a clue what i would like this year as i dont need anything. The only thing i can think of is the Neom pod diffuser with sleep oils.

Sorry guys I forgot I started this thread Confused

I got a new coat and boots from them last year and I still love them so not needing to replace.

Trainers might be a good shout though and maybe some perfume as I had to buy my own bottle a couple of months ago Sad

Thanks guys for the suggestions.
