Best chromebook

I’m looking to get my DS a chromebook and hoping to get a bargain on the Amazon prime days. I will probably give it to him early if his bubble goes into isolation.

It’s a minefield though and I have no idea.
I just want a decent model that can handle online lessons and he likes playing mine craft and watching YouTube videos.

It needs to be reliable ask want it to last.

I'll join your thread because I'd like suggestions too.

I've just bought the Asus chrome book C523 from John Lewis. It was £279 but I see it's gone back up to £359.
I have no problems with it at all I like the asus brand anyway and I wanted intel pentium.
Battery life is as good as they say it is too.

Thanks for that. I’ve read the reviews and then just get confused as some slate it.

The problem is someone will always be unhappy with something.
I chose intel pentium as it's a better processor in my eyes than the others on offer (in my budget).

Just got our DD a HP chromebook 360 and its fab.

Not much help but I have a chrome book and it's excellent. The battery life and the fact it synchs effortlessly with my iPad via the chrome app or google docs etc is great.
Mine is old but the battery life is still amazing. I only use it for work (writing/research) so can't help with the rest.

We bought the lenovo flex 3i chromebook 64GB(2 in 1) a couple of months ago and I'm in love with it.

It was bought to replace the family laptop. We also needed to replace the ipad but tbh we all much prefer the chromebook, so instead the DCs are getting one each for Christmas for their work.

We got the first one for £279 (usually £299), they're proving hard to get now though, obviously very popular.
