This may sound silly but it has been THAT long since I have been to the shops and , in truth, the ones near me are rubbish anyway. I rely on Amazon a LOT but the stuff on there is looking a little tired.

What are your favourite online stores for Christmas . (No kids under 16 in my life so I guess toy shops are out)

Books - Wordery and Blackwells are competitive on price with Amazon and do free delivery, they are also British-owned companies which pay their taxes.

Costco do some nice Christmas food and booze, plus decorations now and then You can get an online-only membership for £15 p.a. if you can't/don't want to drive to one of their warehouses and they charge a flat £5.99 per delivery - I think it's worth it, they're really good.

TK Maxx is good for a bit of everything, particularly gifts e.g. designer toiletries, candles, clothes at knockdown prices.

Matalan has some fun decorations which are reasonably priced.

HMV has a limited range of CDs these days, ebay is better.

Lakeland have some nice food and decorations.

HEMA - usually get unusual food items and decorations from there.

REX London - gift bags and stocking fillers

Lakeland - get Gluten free products for FIL and food stuffs like marzipan cake

H&M - Home - lovely home accessories

Matalan - Decorations are good

Lakeland and Yumbles for food gifts.

TK Maxx for beauty bits for the teens.

Not on the high street.com - I usually just google the sellers name though and buy direct. I have a friend who sells on here and the hoops they make small businesses jump through are ridiculous so I prefer to go direct now.

Cox & Cox for decorations or lights 4 fun

I don't have one go-to shop though, I do a lot of internet searching and shopping around
