lickandchewsweetsupplies.co.uk

This place is brilliant for American sweets and cereal etc

afromom · 06/10/2020 21:12

Yes Sainsbury’s have them. They are on the end of the soft drink aisle in our local one (so not with the 'normal' sweets

movingonup20 · 06/10/2020 21:15

One word - why??? I lived in the USA and drove over the Canadian border to acquire decent treats, American sweets and cereals are too sweet and full of corn syrup.

PinkDaydreams · 06/10/2020 21:23

@movingonup20 stocking fillers :) I'm wanting treats for husband to go in his Xmas stocking, chocolate he/I wouldn't normally buy. When on holiday we normally have a few different chocolate bars and as we haven't been away for a few years I wanted something that also has memories for us too.

B&M have a Reece's selection box
They also have nerds and mike and ike sweets

Home bargains have a Reece's pieces advent calendar and huge pouches of m&ms for a fiver. They also sell lucky charms cereals.

Lidl have Arizona Iced Tea Grin

chipsandpeas · 06/10/2020 22:23

myhobbyisouting · 06/10/2020 23:01

MrsSlocombesPussy · 06/10/2020 23:14

americancandystores.co.uk - not sure how it compares on price

bottlenose301 · 06/10/2020 23:25

Oh my god this is so tempting. I literally clicked on LA Bites just to have a look and ended up adding 10 items in my basket and nearly bought them! I stopped myself but it's tempting Grin

Notfeelinggreattoday · 06/10/2020 23:40

I get hershey bars for dc from morrison's

mummyof2boys30 · 07/10/2020 10:33

Our local game has an American section. I know they have nerds, airheads and pringles.

Grapesoda7 · 07/10/2020 10:36

My local Nisa corner shop stocks a lot of American drinks for better prices if you were looking at drinks as well as sweets

PinkDaydreams · 07/10/2020 11:13

Hadn't thought of drinks, I'll add them to my list! Got a couple of bits from home bargains this morning so thank you for that!

Co op and Sainsbury's have a small but decent collection

AvoidingRealHumans · 07/10/2020 13:04

I've filled a basket on American fizz website, haven't shopped around so don't know if other sites are cheaper but they had loads of choice and didn't seem too expensive. They definitely had twinkies on there but not sure on flavours

LucyLatimer · 07/10/2020 13:12

Has anyone seen peanut butter m&m’s recently? Used to get them from b&m

BarbaraofSeville · 07/10/2020 13:21

Asda might also be a good place to look, especially if you have a big one nearby.

We have one that is actually named a 'Walmart' and is huge and has a whole aisle, possibly two, of imported foodstuffs and most is very cheap.

FlatScreenTV01 · 07/10/2020 13:54

Asda Walmart superstores have a bug range of American sweets but they're not cheap.

mam0918 · 07/10/2020 19:09

hershey and reeces etc... are normally in B&M

Spied · 07/10/2020 19:13

Baby Ruth's 39p in BnM yesterday.

youdidask · 07/10/2020 19:15

Reece's pieces are my favourite too
Found some in my local garden centre
Cardboard theatre box for £2.

Seen them in B&m and pound shops sometimes.

gingercat02 · 07/10/2020 19:16

If you or someone you know is near Newcastle there is an American sweet shop on Northumberland Street

MrMeSeeks · 07/10/2020 19:28

Weedsnseeds1* how do you select things on that site?? Theres no option to add anything to any basket!

PinkDaydreams · 07/10/2020 19:29

Baby Ruth's are what I'm after, I'll get myself into b&m tomorrow thank you @Spied.
Home bargains had alot of reeses, word of warning though check the expiry dates as I noticed alot going out of date at the end of this month. I picked up a couple bars of Hershey's for 49p. They also had bags of Hershey's kisses but they also went out of date at the end of this month.
Unfortunately nowhere near Newcastle :(
