Board games for two

DH and I urgently need to overhaul our board game collection. We haven't played together for a long time thanks to babies/toddlers and exhausted evenings, but this Christmas we want to bring back the tradition. Give me your best recommendations for board games that two grown-ups can play!

Forbidden island isn’t strictly a board game but we really like it.

Ticket to Ride Scandinavia is brilliant and set up for two/three players.

Not board games, but we had a lot of fun with Bounce Off last year and Bop it

I'll look into some of these!

Favourites here are Bananagrams and Monopoly Deal (after we made a few changes to the rules to make it harder, like taking out property wildcards).

I got Hive after recommendations on here, but we just didn't get on with it. Games became short and samey. Splendor also ended up at the back of the cupboard.
