Ideas for a Fact loving child

My DS loves facts and I’m trying to think of present ideas that he would like.

He is currently watching StoryBots and keeps coming in to tell me different facts ie How many parts are in a car and how hot the sun is.

Any ideas/suggestions?

TIA

Maybe you can make a quiz picture collage with questions and facts of something he enjoys and illustrations? While he answers the questions, he also gets a letter for the key word each time ру answers correctly. Once he knows what this key word is, he wins the game and gets the prize (may be a science book or a magazine subscription as CountFosco suggested). You can use Shutterfly or any other collage maker like this (but you'll need to print it out). I'm not very good at creating quizes, but maybe this can help- www.signupgenius.com/home/trivia-questions-for-kids.cfm, there are questions on different topics.

Guineas Book of World records - you get the ‘main’ one every year but there are also loads of special editions - gaming edition, animal edition etc.

There’s also a GBoWR board game which mine enjoyed.

Big Book of Comparisons, Curious Book of Lists and Timelines of Everything are all excellent.

@ladybee28 Thank you for the link - what an amazing site! And so many ideas for both my kids. I will be bookmarking and keeping that site as a go to for present inspiration!

I would strongly recommend finding a recipe book for kids - maybe baking or making mug cakes (depending on his age(, buy him an apron and some child safe knives. Learning to weigh, measure, select ingredients, is great fun and something you can enjoy together.

Marks and Spencer are doing a facts about planets advent calendar this year, if you're not particularly religious. I bought one today for science loving 9 year old.
