Animal crossing

Is animal crossing suitable for a 7/8 year old? Ds isn't really into gaming but loves roblox. He likes to make houses, have pets and that sort of thing. He's animal and small world mad. We have a family switch so I wondered if this might be suitable for him as a Christmas gift?
If not are there any other recommendations?

Our daughter has just got it and really loves it. She's coming up for 9. I like that it teaches her she has to work for money (well, bells in AC) to pay off her mortgage 😂

I would say yes, ds is 7 and enjoys it. Dd 10 is also happy to play. Main player in our house is me though, I love it so I would say get it for the kids and then enjoy! It’s very easy to drop in and out of for short time spans and doesn’t have the deeply addictive element that I find with a lot of other games, so ideal for kids.

I love this game! Very PG and very relaxing:) I had it on a Nintendo ds when I was that age and loved it.
Minecraft would be a good one too, maybe when hes a bit older:)
