Playmobile Advice

Hello, hoping for some Playmobile
advice if possible please!

My daughter will be 2.5years at Christmas and has started getting much more involved in imaginative play. I thought Playmobile might be a good present for her but I don't know what type would be best.

I can see there is Playmobile 123 which says for 18mo+ and then regular Playmobile that seems to be 4+?
Which should I get for a 2.5yo? Will she grow out of Playmobile 123 too quickly? Or should I leave it until she is older?
Or is there another option I haven't seen? She already has lots of Duplo and a few happyland sets.

Thanks for your help!

Playmobil 123, the farm animals or dolls house ones are good. I bought my 3-year old the older kid type but the pieces are too small for her and she can’t use it independently, whereas the 123 type is played with regularly by her and her older sibling.

Normal Playmobil will be completely unsuitable. There will be loads of really tiny pieces and it may get broken easily. The 123 is great. We have the Noah's Ark and our 2 year old loves it. Chunky, easy to hold/manage and can go in the bath!
It will last till they're older as it has intrinsic play value as people, animals etc.

Definitely not the “normal” playmobile as theres loads of wee bits.
Is Happyland still available?

I agree with the suggestion of Happyland. I find they have a lot more choice / variety than playmobil 123, and often you can get great bundles on marketplace or Ebay.

Playmo 123 is brilliant stuff, I'd go with that.

Perfect, I'll go for the 123. Thank you!

Playmobil 123 is brilliant stuff. My 3.5 year old still plays with it regularly!

Does she like Peppa? My dd has loads of peppa stuff, house, zoo, ice cream stand, Dr Brown bears hospital, Miss Rabbits shop and multiple cars! Its not tiny bits and she will play for ages with it making up stories etc. She got lots if it last year so will have been 3.
She was 4 in July and im getting her 2 bits of playmobil for Xmas to see how she gets on with it.
She still loves the peppa things.
123 may be ok. We hav a set that came from an advent calendar and she does like that. Not sure she would hav at 2.5 though.

I'd say 123, the proper stuff can be very fiddly. DS still plays with it at 3.2 and he's just got more advanced with imaginary play etc with it.
