Best castle figures?

I’ve just bought a wooden castle secondhand and would really appreciate advice on best figures for it - knights, dragons, trebuchets? Thanks.

We have playmobil which I like.

The Papo figurrs are nice too.

Depends on how old your DC are. Mine are fairly young (nearly 3 and nearly 1) and I've just ordered a bunch from WOW toys. We've already got a princess - I've also ordered a prince, a knight, a dragon, a wizard, and a set with the Queen and two beefeaters. Not yet arrived though!

schleich do really good quality knights and dragons etc for castles.

We have Schleich and Papo. They were bought when my eldest was about 4 and he still plays with them now, at nearly 8.

We have Papo. DS really likes them

We got papo (mainly) for ds1 13 years ago, for a castle we built ourselves.
The castle and figures are one of the few toys we have kept in case we have grandchildren!
