Dd doesn’t want anything (actually she doesn’t NEED anything, she probably wants things 😂) I’m really stuck on what to get her.

She has a phone, tv in her room, bike. I asked if she wanted jewellery, she wasn’t bothered. Make up, she doesn’t wear often..

So far I’ve got her some new trainers and a few items of clothing in the sales but I’m stumped 🤔

What are your young teen girls asking for this year?

@Shieldingending

Watching with interest as mine will be 13 by Christmas with a birthday just before ! She likes stationery, bath bombs, smellies which will pad out her stocking but for a main present she'd like (expensive) trainers. She loves getting her nails painted so thinking a voucher for the local salon. She's also looking at the "oodie" mentioned by a previous poster but wow do they seem expensive!!
Re. Oodie, I’ve just bought one of the Sienna oversized hoodies from Amazon. Much cheaper at £22 plus free delivery. I’m really happy with the quality - I’ve checked all the seams/stitching and it’s seems ok.

She hasn't asked for anything but I saw a young driver lesson on another post which I liked the idea of.

Thing my 13 would like include new bedding, plants, a skateboard, a bag for her sports gear, money to go towards an ipad, various books, clothes, art stuff.

We got DD an Alexa last year (she sleeps in the attic and it links to the one in the kitchen so worked out more useful than we thought Grin ).

Not airpods, but DH had also got her wireless earbuds to link to her iPhone.

Both were very well received.

Yes, an alarm clock (or Alexa) is very useful at that age. It gives a great excuse to enforce the rule of no phones overnight in the bedrooms (we have the same rule in our bedroom).

She has a waterproof wireless Bluetooth speaker that she got the previous year which is very well used also (it goes out on boats for less serious sailing days with friends and they link to their phones).

Clothes. That she has chosen.

And sports equipment - she's a very serious sportsperson in 2 sports, and neither has cheap equipment.

Her stocking gets things like nicer shower gels and facial items suited to her skin. Lots of hair bobbins. "Cool" paperclips and pushpins for her noticeboard for school notes etc. Nice stationary. A fiction book that Santa has extensively researched to be interesting to her. Sometimes a non fiction book on one of her sports or things she is interested in as well. Perfect fruit, and some sweets you don't normally find (I usually get something interesting when travelling for work). Camping bits and bobs. DH got a funky leather bracelet that she does wear, but she's not much into jewellery or makeup. A voucher for credit for Xbox game or similar.

The 11-15 year old girls (there’s lots and DS is the only boy of that age 😂) on our cul-de-sac are big into pennyboards/ longboards/ surf skateboards.
