I think it was around mid/end September last year?? I know a lot of stores sell out quite quickly. Please post if you see any of the high street stores releasing their Christmas ranges 😊

Depending on the store but I usually find October time.

Cherryrainbow · 11/08/2020 08:47

I have a feeling itll be around end of sept/october time. The past few years it seems to overlap all the Halloween stuff rather than come out after wards. I know the new toy catalogues for smyths and boots xmas 3 for 2 stuff are coming out end of september so I suspect we will see xmas stuff generally out around then x

Mummaof4xxxx · 11/08/2020 23:16

I agree with others normally around end of September but I’ve been looking online and there’s quite a few options on different sites like amazon unfortunately for me I want us all matching so will struggle to find the sizes I need until this years get released. X

MovinOnUp · 12/08/2020 17:52

Following this as I want to get them early.
Will keep an eye out and report any findings here.

AlwaysLatte · 12/08/2020 17:57

I've stopped doing this, I get tartan or red ones now that can be worn all year round.

MovinOnUp · 12/08/2020 19:56

@AlwaysLatte Ooh I quite fancy tartan ones for the kids, I already have tartan jammy bottoms, So I can just get a red top to go with them.
DP would need a pair of tartan bottoms....He's a big lad though, Would need a size xxxl.

Primark used to have some lovely PJs when my DC were younger .

Last year I bought DS (20) a couple of pairs of lounge trousers and T Shirts , and a pair PJs with tartan trousers/plain top.

IIRC , I got DD (18) some from Sainsbury (Wintery not Christmas though) polar bears and penguins

surreygirl1987 · 14/08/2020 20:32

Asda and Matalan usually do good ones... will keep my eye out. They sell out fast so it's hard to get the exact right sizes if there's a lot of you!

Mummaof4xxxx · 15/08/2020 12:57

I’ve just been on patpat and ordered some.......really cheap aswel and have good reviews x

surreygirl1987 · 15/08/2020 14:33

Ooh I saw the ones on patpat... but none of the sale ones I want have all the sizes I need in stock 😭 they look gorgous though!

Mummaof4xxxx · 15/08/2020 15:49

I’ve ordered all different for us all for beginning of December as they were so cheap as like you I struggle to get the same for all the sizes needed so still looking for matching aswel lol x

Mumto3thatsme · 15/08/2020 16:13

Homebargains had some in yesterday.
I’ve just pre-ordered some from a fb page called kiddiwinks

NoWordForFluffy · 15/08/2020 17:38

Our Patpat ones were enormous! Much bigger than I expected them to be.

What’s the quality like? I ordered some from eBay last year and they were horrendous, see through and an awful material. Do you have a link to the ones you have?

We wear Xmas pjs all year round! Only going to bed so doesn’t matter. They get new Xmas pjs for Christmas Eve and then wear them until they are outgrown! Doesn’t everyone do that? Or are people buying Christmas pjs and wearing them a couple of times and throwing them out?!!!!
userabcname · 15/08/2020 19:24

I think I got ours in September last year. Learned my lesson from the year before where I waited til November and ended up with peppa pig ones that featured on an "ugliest festivewear" thread on mn Sad

NoWordForFluffy · 15/08/2020 20:41

@Mumto3thatsme, it was a few years ago so no link. I’d say they were polyester or something similar. Wouldn’t want too much friction, anyway, or you’d go up in flames. Not see through though. Horrible things really. They’d have lasted years given the size. I bought new the next year.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/08/2020 21:42

My DD has her Christmassey bedding on Nov 1st . Soon as Hallowe'en is done she claims she's freezing and has to have her wintery bedding . (Grey fleece sheet , stag duvet cover from Matalan)

Mine have their Christmas PJs on Dec 1st and wear them all winter .
DD had a shorts /top set from Victoria Secret Pink one year - dark grey with snowflakes . Stupidly ££ but so soft and lasted at least three years !

Cherryrainbow · 16/08/2020 07:47

We do a similar thing of wearing the pjs from start of December and its usually more "winter" design than specifically xmassy ie. Red tartan, snownflakes, winter animals etc.

My son has had the same xmas bedding for years, it gets broken out around the same time, start of December x

DoAsYouWouldBeMumBy · 16/08/2020 17:43

I bought DS Christmas pugs jammies that match his Christmas bedding a few years ago. He uses both for the whole of December and start of January - I just wash the jams a few times a week. They are too small for him now but he still loves them 😂

We do this, they get worn until they're grown out of or destroyed. I still regularly wear Christmas PJs from 5/6 years ago.

I've got the H&M Harry Potter Hogwarts Express ones for this year for DS.
