What did you make of the list? Personally, I don't know if I'm getting any of them, DD would like the Paw Patrol Dino toy but I can find her things she'd like even more for £65. I like the Design A Friend doll but I don't know about that either. List is linked here: https://www.netmums.com/reviews/whats-new/argos-unveils-top-toys-for-christmas#utmsource=news&utmmmedium=email&utmcampaign=2008077220_News

I always look forward to reading these lists but they look like such rubbish

bumblebeewine · 08/08/2020 12:37

I think so too @Rebelwithallthecause !! I'm so underwhelmed

Was wondering when these lists would come out. Pretty meh. I know my son would like the Mario lego but it's so expensive. Maybe his dad will get it for him lol

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 08/08/2020 12:37

There is nothing on that list I would buy.
DH &I are big adult Lego fans- he quite likes technic. He thinks that set is overpriced.
The doll- there's already a range. But aren't they all equally popular?. DD has one of that style of doll, and it's all she wants.
Most of the rest seems the 5 minute wonder stuff.

Usually there's an interesting range of stuff on the list- this year it's seems overpriced and/or tat.

bumblebeewine · 08/08/2020 12:39

To me, it's just not worth £65! I think if anything, I'll get the doll but I'm not even sure about that.

Honestly seen better stuff in their clearance atm! X

Me too @Cherryrainbow !

We all know that in January, half of this stuff will be on sale! I'm really underwhelmed the more I think about it 😂

One of my daughters has another of the dolls from the design a friend range and loves it. I'm neither here nor there about stuff like lol and hatchimals, they never hold their interest in those and they're usually overpriced for what they are.

InDreamland · 08/08/2020 21:28

Hopefully the rollin rovee will be half price in the January sales so I can get one for DDs 1st birthday.

Glamazoni · 08/08/2020 21:39

I love the Paw Patrol but £65 is too much. I’ll be waiting for a discount.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 10/08/2020 12:46

My daughter collects lol dolls and has asked for one of those dolls so will get that but nothing else from that list.

I'm surprised not to see the lol clubhouse on the list, its one of the better value sets they've released. I've bought it already for dd2 as I'm sure it will sell out.

nevermorelenore · 15/08/2020 02:13

God what a load of tat! I have already bought the mario lego set for DS though. But he is ridiculously Mario obsessed and will no doubt play it for hours.
