Kraft wrap - any good?

I’ve decided to wrap as I go this year to save time closer to Christmas. I’ve been looking at the large Kraft rolls that are coloured on one side but are still recyclable. Did anyone use this last year and can recommend?

Thanks

I love using kraft paper to wrap Christmas presents. They look great, can use embellishments and lovely ribbons/ string to make them look pretty and classy. Bonus is they are recyclable.

I used this last year as I had a green theme for my gift wrapping - I like presents to look uniform under the tree.

Great thanks, that was the sort of paper I was looking for. Think I’m going to wrap as I go and add the tags and then closer to the time make them look a bit nicer with ribbon etc.

I need to get organised and wrap as I go. Harder to find time for wrapping with a 5 month old but it'll be harder to do s big bulk of gifts in December when she's 9/10 months old.

I can recommend that paper. I was worried about a couple of the reviews but I found the paper to be strong but thin enough to get a good sharp edge - some kraft paper I've used in the past has been so thick it's harder to get the sharp edges.

Yes we used Kraft paper with patterns on and other recyclable paper since last Christmas. Just wrapped DHs birthday presents with this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MEER12Y/ref=ppxyoodtbbasintitleeo06s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]

Don't forget the brown paper tape rather than sellotape, I got another roll of that today in WH Smith

We used Kraft paper with grey and silver satin ribbon for gifts going out, not own kids. The presents looked really lovely. I'm definitely going to do it again and I've got some ribbon left and some I've recycled from last year.
I might attach some leaf springs or something onto them too this year.

@lexloofah can you redo that link as it doesn’t seem to be working. Thanks Smile

I was thinking of using this type of paper to wrap for adults this year, I've seen some lovely ideas on pinterest of ways to dress it up pretty with ribbon, washi tape, decorations etc x

I wrap with plain brown Kraft paper and loads of ribbons. Didn't know you could get coloured one!
