Hi there!
I am a first time mum and my daughter will be 2 by Christmas and need some help thinking of suitable gift ideas!
She loves playing outside, drawing, likes babies, loves her little toy kitchen 😊

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! 🎁☃️🎄🎅🤶

My son loves the tots town sets. (Cheaper version of happyland) his favourite is the zoo train set.
You can get them in sainsburys/argos... they usually have a 25% off before Xmas and you can get loads of bargains!!

Thank you for this thread! I have a two year old and I am struggling. It’s quite a tricky age.

just thought of some more - i had a 2 yr old last Christmas and one this Christmas too so really having to rack my brain for ideas - since current 2 yr old has all the toys from last year but also need to give presents this year.

jigsaws
mr potato head
cars & car mat/foam track
swing for garden
slide for garden
musical instruments
keyboard
microphone boombox
play tent
walking dogs - furry dog on a lead you press a button and it walks/barks
scoop & learn ice cream cart
scooter
vtech laptop/tablet/phone - toy ones of course
fish tank
remote control car
little armchair
mega blox table
colouring in books etc
bath toys
doctor/vet set/toy
magnadoodle board
hobby horse
happyland toys always a hit here

some of these ideas will depend on how close to 3 your child will be come christmas to how much they will "get" the toy but seeing my then 2&1 and now 3&2 play with the gifts from last year i think most can be adapted with the removal of little pieces if any and supervision. To get ideas i've just looked back on photos from last christmas i will be honest there is some toys i cant remember who's is who's .

My dd1 got a dolls house for her 2nd birthday and it has been very well loved (it's the asda one) and we will be giving it to dd2 (2 at Christmas) as dd1 gets an upgrade. Dd1 is sylvanian family obsessed and it is rubbing off on dd2 so I'll probably get her a simple family set to go with the doll house

Other ideas we have are

Safari schleich animals
Schleich dolphins, whales and sharks for the bath
Indigo jamm fire engine
Happy land fairies set
Doll highchair (we already have pram and cot from dd1)

Does your daughter have a trolly to go with her kitchen, that was a big hit in our house. Playdough? And those magic painting books are fab for little extras

I also second duplo 4 year old dd has had it since 18 months and it is still played with all the time, plus you and others can add to it over time

I had a 2 and 3 year old last Christmas and duplo was the biggest hit, they are still playing with it now and it's our most played with toy.

Disney little people sets - they have some on offer and clearance I think in argos atm.
Happyland sets
Duplo
Crayons
Play doh
Ride on toy/scooter
Classic wooden toys - lovely stuff on John Lewis if you use the age filter
Dress up clothes
