Last year the barbie camper van was the hit of Christmas, and is still played with now. I'd like to buy a barbie house this year but they are so ridiculously expensive, don't look that great to play with and look so flimsy. Any recommendations for dolls houses that work with barbie size dolls?

I love the Kidkraft Hallie and kidkraft Zoe, both wooden, with furniture, flushing toilet, light on either door or patio, around £109 to £150. I like them because they are esrheically pleasing and not as enormous as the dream house either. Sorry I don't know how to post link, but you can buy them at loads of places, Amazon, very etc. Smyths and Asda do barbie style houses too.

Thanks. Got sucked into a world of KidKraft houses. Now just need to persuade DH to set aside half the living room for one of them!

We have this one from Asda and I think it’s really good. We bought it when it was on offer but it’s still a good price.

@Adelais does that house fit barbies?

We bought DD the Kidcraft Majestic Mansion and its excellent, comes with a full house of furniture too.

Just don't start building it at 11pm on Christmas Eve unless you only want to get to bed at 4am... Grin
