Are they worth the money? People seem to rave about them, but are they really £20 and matchbox sized?
Was thinking of them for a 2.5yr old.

£232 for a house!
They are cute, I had never heard of them.

Twins for £25 -but I wonder would a 2.5 year old appreciate them? I’m thinking the outfits would be too fiddly to change.

DS (2.5) has the superhero mouse and loves him.

I bought one years ago before my son arrived, I got it from a shop in cirencester and don't recall it being as expensive as I see them now.
He is rather fond of the mouse and played with it a lot when he was younger, he liked that the boy mouse had his own little bed with blanket and pillow. Now it's one of his treasured decorations.
I've considered getting one for my little girl on the way but I agree I haven't seen any at a lower price than you have quoted there!

BumpkinSpiceBatty · 22/07/2020 07:02

I found a couple on ebay last year that were like brand new. They are really lovely and they have been played with a lot but no way would I pay the full price.

Magicbabywaves · 22/07/2020 07:08

Oh they’re cute, but so expensive. Maybe get some sylvanian families stuff and see if they like that first. Not that they’re cheap, but a bit.

mosscarpet · 22/07/2020 07:38

I really wanted to buy these for my dc for several years and was always put off by price. My dc are all too old now, but I wish I had taken the plunge and bought them, I still think they would have loved them!

I'm going to keep a regular eye out on ebay I think and aim to get one around £10. It looks like the general consensus wherever I see them mentioned is that they are spenny but anyone who has them say they are lovely.
I've got her a dollhouse and I'm hoping to pick up some second hand sylvanian for it and have it all set up for Christmas morning. Then maybe the maileg in her stocking? She got a jellycat rabbit last year and it is the biggest win by far, gets taken to bed every night.

Mine are getting the cowboy, little sister and grandparents for Christmas. I've bought them already and they're just gorgeous!

wishfull888 · 03/08/2020 15:03

My daughter (3) is obsessed with hers . I don't know why they like them so much !

Luxplus · 03/08/2020 15:19

I think a 2.5 year old are to little. My 6 year old loves them and started playing with them within the last 6 month. Her sister that's 3, almost 4, have no interest in them.
The quality is great btw and they are worth the money I think

LiquoricePickle · 03/08/2020 21:11

Mine are 18 months and 3 and a half, and they've both only ever shown interest in tiny soft toys or playmobil people, so I hope they take to them.... If not they're all mine!!! I also bought the tent with the tiny light!

Graffitiqueen · 04/08/2020 11:52

Oh they're gorgeous. I was always put off by the price too, but wish I'd just bought DD one earlier.

Cherryrainbow · 05/08/2020 22:32

There are some on the scandiborn website under £20 think along the lines of 16 95 x

TheHound86 · 06/08/2020 19:31

Have you seen the holdie folk by Olli Ella? I was looking at the maileg mice but then i came across these and I really like the look of them. Ordered 4 today.

LiquoricePickle · 06/08/2020 23:27

I like the holdie folk too. I'm actually getting an olli Ella casa basket for the mice.

WisestIsShe · 08/08/2020 20:32

If it's a little mouse in an outfit that sleeps in a matchbox, I'm pretty sure wilko did them around Christmas time last year. Probably not as nice but only £4 and I'm not sure a little one would notice the difference.
