My most appreciated gifts this year are;
Slimming World vouchers for 12 weeks
Clinique Happy perfume- my fave, which I`ve not had in about 3 years-so no perfume at allXmas ShockXmas Shock[flove][flove]
Plus lots of t-shirtsXmas GrinXmas Grin

DH bought me an absolutely gorgeous necklace, it’s not something I would normally buy for myself but I love it. It has a few charms on it and each and everyone has a meaning making it even more special. He also bought me a baby Niffler teddy because I want a baby Niffler Xmas Grin

My DM buys me more or less the same every Christmas - slippers, socks, my favourite chocolate and my favourite biscuits and every year I look forward to getting them Xmas Grin

My husband tracked down a childhood recipe book my parents no longer have. I was overjoyed. I got some wonderful present this year, I felt very loved.

My DH bought me a digital photo frame as I go back to work full time from Monday after several years part time. He bought it for my desk at work to have pics of the kids on. It’s such a thoughtful gift - I’m really delighted with it.

Been having a very difficult time lately ---- It wasn't given officially as a Christmas present - but it's without question the best thing anyone could possibly have given me and mine this Christmas:

A beautiful eight foot Christmas tree and at no small inconvenience to themselves; a place we could put it and have Christmas round it!
Thank you, Thank you Thank you!

Two gifts - a cocktail set and necklace from my DC - and gifts I brought myself - a necklace bracelet and earrings and a cactus!

Seeing my son so happy all day. He's had an unimaginably tough 18 months and it was lovely seeing him so carefree and enjoying every moment.

Actual gifts - it wasn't a v good year, ( I think because we have been so distracted by the aforementioned difficult stuff!) but my sister bought me the most beautiful set of champagne glasses with decorated in my absolute favourite flower and they just made me feel so much like someone sees me as "me" and not just mum/wife/colleague. (DH is terribly practical in his gift giving but he is so lovely in every other way that I don't mind).

My auntie sent me a box of Christmas treats and a tesco voucher, because she knows it's been a tough year and my first christmas as a single mum. I cried.

Some lovely Fly boots from hubby. (Not a surprise, but I love them tons.)

Also, it sounds boring, but also got some beautiful fair isle socks. Very warm. I've never been so excited to receive socks before - am I getting old?

I have had an awful virus since 22nd Dec. For Xmas i got a large double fake fur throw blanket in pale grey with thermal lining to snuggle on sofa with. I love it. It feels as soft as a cats fur. I had other gifts including new phone but blanky my favourite.

My parents made a donation to crisis in the name of me DH. For which we are grateful as there really wasn’t anything we needed and I’ve been suggesting this for years. The did the same for my DSis and her husband. She’s also happy - he’s very pissed off. He is very wealthy but has a terrible attitude to those in need. So him showing his true colours has also been an added bonus.

Mine is not a gift per se:

2019 was a catastrophic year for me and my family, death, divorce, mental breakdowns, daughter leaving home and no contact for months etc...etc......

So, the greatest gift I had this yr was to see my daughter on xmas eve and exchange gifts and agree to a new start with no blame this year x
The chocolates she gave me were unimportant but welcome!

DH and I didn’t do presents as such, but on Christmas Day we ordered new pans and towels from the John Lewis clearance sale. Our originals were wedding presents 20 years ago, and knackered.

Train tickets from my mum so I could attend my cousin's wedding, I didn't think I'd be able to go because of work and then when I realised I could I didn't have enough time to save enough money, so my mum bought me the tickets for Christmas so I got to spend at least a small amount of time with family over the festive period. Second was new yard boots from DSis - dry feet!

My most appreciated is a new jewellery box but haven't had time to really organise yet

Most used is a gin cocktail recipe book where I seem to have tried a new recipe every night since Boxing Day 🍸

I got a mug with a slogan on it that was very pertinant to me from DS(15). DD(12) got me some posh tea bags and a book. So very me and they both used money that they'd earned to buy them. I loved the thoughtfulness behind it.

DH got me a book token which is also thoughtful as it means I can spend ages mooching around in a book shop and he's not allowed to moan about it! ;)

My DH got me a fancy digital radio for the kitchen. Also can be used as speakers with my phone. I was going to ask for one for my bday coming up so was well pleased with it. I've left London and miss London stations!

A Shark cordless vacuum.

It is a total game changer for me in more ways than I can possibly tell or explain. I have a Henry, but it is so heavy.

Laugh as much as you want, but it is what I wanted and I am grateful as they are not cheap

These are so lovely! Mine was cinema membership from my DH - something we can do together (the exhaustion of young kids and demanding jobs has made this hard recently). My favourite pressie by far
