My Dd 4 has played the most with these strechey magnetic men my mother got her.
Though the signing frozen dolls have also been a hit.

Chatty Charlie furreal dog was played with for about 10 mins and is now under the tree looking neglected.

DS got a weird balance board thing called a Teeter Popper. Great for his sensory needs. He's been rocking back and forward on it for three days. Say through about 3 Disney films in it. Grin

gothefcktosleep · 27/12/2019 21:41

18 month old got a toy kitchen and it has not disappointed

Also a rocking horse that has been a terrific hit!

Theneverendingcleaningcycle · 27/12/2019 21:49

Thanks everyone for sharing. It's great to hear what's gone down well!

Definitely a marble run.

Equimum · 27/12/2019 22:03

DS6 loves his Beyblade set. I was really reluctant to buy it given the quality looks terrible for the cost, but we have been repeatedly asked to battle with him over the past three days.
Both boys are also loving the Scalextric set their grandparents bought them. Again, lots of races have been had.

bluechameleon · 27/12/2019 23:16

Both DC (5 and almost 2) have played a lot with the Playmobil water park and various wooden play food. DS1 has also been enjoying learning chess.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 28/12/2019 07:54

DC 1 iPhone
DC 2 new Xbox

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 28/12/2019 07:58

I would love to say the brand new shiny scooter Santa brought , or the various mounds of presents he got here, my mum's, or his dad's.

But it seems it was an old plastic dolls house he rescued from the charity bags that I caught him playing with upstairs on Xmas morning Hmm
When he was 1 he loved a potato I was peeling and carried it around all of Xmas day!

passthebucky · 28/12/2019 08:05

My 5yo has played with her double pram and my generation dolls the most.

Dd3 loves her vet set.

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 28/12/2019 08:09

Ds (4) loves his drum and hot wheels track.

pintsizeprincess · 28/12/2019 08:24

Dd7 loves her selfie stick camera and new heelies.

Dd4 is enjoying the wooden food for her toy kitchen. She is also obsessed with her hungry hippos game.

GreenFieldsofFrance · 28/12/2019 08:44

We unintentionally managed to have hit a sweet spot where the 3 dc all seem equally into their lego and crucially able to get on with it on their own. I've waited for this for years!

eurochick · 28/12/2019 08:52

Our five year old girl loves her Barbie Dreamtopia (unicorn that makes sounds) and her squishies.

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 28/12/2019 08:54

Ds1 (18) Pokémon shield for the Switch and his denim jacket (we've reached the stage of pointed comments about "are you not stopping? Grin )

Ds2 (16) sparkly earrings and hoodies that fit!

Dd (15) new art pens. We've basically not seen her since lunchtime on Christmas day and her 2020 bullet journal is a thing of beauty already.

Ds3 (9) the lightsaber his biggest brother gave him. We're on our second set of batteries and he's spent 3 full days leaping about in the garden. The best bit, apparently, is when it gets dark!

It's been lovely that everyone is so pleased this year.

Passthecake30 · 28/12/2019 08:58

Dd (10) is strangely hooked on the cheap french knitting set that we put in her stocking

Ds (11) is enjoying monopoly voice banking atm.

They still keep going back to their iPads however. We got them a stack of varied gifts but didn't go nuts as we knew the call of the iPad would be great.

CoodleMoodle · 28/12/2019 09:14

DD(5) loves her karaoke machine and a big fluffy cat the best. She got an identical cat in a different colour last year, and this one is the sister, apparently. She's been sleeping wedged in between them.

DS is only 18mo so it's hard to tell, but I think he likes his toy washing machine the best. Or his vast collection of Toot Toot Vehicles...

ItsOurTime · 28/12/2019 09:23

Lol stuff for dd2 who is 9
Apple watch for dd1 who is 15

Lolly86 · 28/12/2019 09:27

DD 6 - Barbie car (2nd hand for £2 from charity shop 😂)harry potter dolls, barbies and new orchard toys games- Pop to the Shops and Bus Stop have gone down well. Oh and the roller skates I also got from the charity shop for £2.50...

Zoflorabauble · 28/12/2019 09:30

Dd (8) loves her Our Generation doll with the extendable hair and her book making kit.

Ds (16) is currently on his way to Newcastle to watch his beloved Everton, tickets to match and coach were a present and despite all of the other stuff he got, this has made him the happiest.

TuppenceDarling · 28/12/2019 09:30

Lego mania here and all 4 DC very happy

EsmeeMerlin · 28/12/2019 09:42

My ds1(age 6) has been obsessed with his new Nintendo switch lite which we expected, but has also loved uno and his horrid Henry books.

Ds2(20 months) loves the little toy buggy, the duplo and his favourite is a talking po(teletubbies) that my sister got him. He has carried it everywhere.

HereForTheHelp · 28/12/2019 09:44

Ds5 got a mermaid tail and is OBSESSED. He's had more baths the last 3 days than he's had in the entire year. He also got a Mario hat that he's only taken off to sleep
(A mermaid in a Mario hat is quite the sight to behold)

He's autistic and non verbal so we never really get the 'oh wow' reaction, but we certainly did this year!

Ds3 got a wooden box with his name on, filled to the brim with crayola twistables and a mountain of notebooks. He's also autistic with hyperlexia so all he wants to do is write his alphabet. It went down an absolute treat Smile

Slavedrivers · 28/12/2019 09:52

Toddler is obsessed with the toy hoover.
DD (11) it's a hot glue gun.
DD (14) it's fake lashes and nails she got from MIL. Hmm
They have all used their giant beanbags the most, which I thought would get ignored.
They are all pretty easily pleased Crown Grin

Kuponut · 28/12/2019 10:24

Well DD2 is obsessed with DD1's singing microphone and bluetooth iPad speaker.
DD1 is obsessed with DD2's playmobil house.

There may be trouble ahead.

Dogsaresomucheasier · 28/12/2019 12:15

A £3.50 toy wand from the tourist information office in Oxford. Wooden, with some turning on the handle. No Harry Potter branding at all, 1/10th of the price of the official Harry Potter ones, but he loves it.
