Gin?!?

At the risk of sounding like a moron, what mixer is best with gin (and port)?!?

If you don’t like tonic, pink lemonade I found was surprisingly nice. Or ginger lemonade.

I love gin but hate tonic even the supposedly good ones (fever tree etc). I love normal lemonade or rose lemonade with gin.

Have you got a sweet tooth? Lemonade would be too sweet for me but if you like it it would be a good alternative to tonic. Fever Tree do a clementine tonic which might be OK for you as well. Port is lovely with lemonade.

Posh lemonade is good with gin, if you don't like tonic, also the Belvoir raspberry lemonade, though I prefer tonic. I have some cranberry flavoured tonic to try out later. Port just drink it with a chunk of cheese.

Gin is very good with pink grapefruit juice too!

We have been working our way through gin cocktails this week - a gimlet is nice, google it but basically gin and lime cordial (which we don't have here so used lemon and lime diluting syrup and lime juice).

He made another one with lime and ginger beer that sounds weird but was also delicious!

Sainsbo orange blossom gin with bitter lemon is delicious.
