I really don't want any 'stuff' you know the stocking filler type tat and soap sets.

I would be ecstatic if I got vouchers, not big amounts, a £5 Costa card, £10 amazon, that kind of thing. Then I can use it on things I want or need throughout the year.

Clothes that my ILs think I should wear because they are what they approve of and what my MIL wears.

Sharing my dds. I didn't sign up to have to share my dc over Christmas whilst they are still little. I'm not fond of sharing in general, I'll let you have some of my chips, or a few of my chocolates but I do not want to share my children.
I don't want to share my mum for Christmas either but I'm accepting of that one. I see her more than my siblings anyway.

Ill dcs. They all have a horrible cough and cold. This is the 4th consecutive Christmas with poorly children who are off their food and can't sleep for coughing/itching/vomiting. I look forward to it every year and it isnaleays like this

I’m too fussy and particular about my things.
I don’t buy things constantly but I am choosy about the things I bring into my house to wear/eat/use. Times like Christmas I always ask for a nice card and for someone to make a donation to charity if they want to spend money they don’t need to.
I know I sound really ungrateful but although we aren’t rich we are okay and just like what we like really. I’m always lovely and polite when people do bring presents but they get donated or passed on usually if they’re not for me.

Presents.. And it's not that I'm miserable. I just have no desire to open presents..
There's nothing I need at the moment due babynin 4 weeks.
I've brought all new nightwear and slippers for after.
I've just had hair dyed
Perfume makes me feel ill.
I don't wear make up and I have plenty of everything else.
The when I don't feel like a frumpy mess I'll get myself what i need or want.

And that's not meant to sound miserable because I'm not a miserable person and I'm really looking forward to Xmas but for me it's for the kids and spending time with both our families

Amazon vouchers. Mil insists on kindly getting us amazon vouchers as she can’t be arsed shopping or thinking. I asked her not to get amazon because I have ethical issues with them but she still does. I asked her to donate a bag of food to the food bank instead but she refused

Makeup.

Every year MIL buys me some kind of eyeshadow pallet but I will openly admit I am a makeup snob and won't use rimmel or no17.

The runs which I have been up all night with. So away to treat myself to some Imodium lol

I've already got germs, so.. a hangover but that's a big ask I think
