To be fair op, googling would've been much quicker than posting on here!

I have encountered google before and did, indeed, give it a try first. Most of the letters I found were overly Americanised or focussed on Jesus' birthday so I was rather wondering if anyone had anything to hand which didn't fall into either of those categories.

I need to get back now to help Santa finish everything off! Did you know it’s Christmas in New Zealand before it’s Christmas here! When it’s 11am on Christmas Eve here it will be the start of Christmas Day in New Zealand!

One time I sneaked on the sleigh with Santa and saw all around the world! in New Zealand they have special Christmas Trees called Pohutukawa. They have them outside and they have flowers on instead of baubles and tinsel!

There are loads of different ways of celebrating Christmas around the world! In Japan they go to KFC! In Sweden they have an enormous goat that lights up! What is your favourite thing about Christmas? (Except for seeing me of course - I’m the best!!!!)

Santa wasn’t too happy I was hiding on the sleigh though and when we got back and he found out I had to clean out the reindeer stables for a MONTH!!!! When you’re just a little elf reindeer poop is HUGE and it smells like carrots.

Kind of off topic but was the Elf invented by an evangelical Christian?
I know its an American mom who only created it in 2005 or so but the whole watching for good behaviour thing really is a bit creepy.
I gave in and got one last year, but as everyone was so good, thank fuck he didn't need to return this year.....

I don't know @justforthisnow but my one doesn't really do that. He just comes and creates havoc because the kids enjoy it...

@justforthisnow I don't know either but ours isn't a spy, just a bit of fun. He isn't used as a threat or bribe, but then nor is Father Christmas....

He actually is officially a spy, as he reports to Santa each night (from the Elf website). Ignore me, the elf concept has annoyed me and I am being a grinch. [santa]

No letter here - the elf is making off with a sleigh full of the dc's sweets she has stolen after decorating the Xmas tree with knickers.

Might try a letter next year, it sounds sweet.
