Chocolate Bark

Please can someone explain the point of this? Unless I am missing something, it seems to involve taking perfectly harmless chocolate, melting it, letting it set then breaking it up, maybe adding a few sprinkles.

Why?

because it is a homemade gift isn't it! And who doesn't love a homemade gift at Christmas.

Yes it is carp. waste perfectly good chocolate so that you can convince yourself that you have cooked something.
