Ok - I do have choices, but there is nothing on his list that I am keen to get him as a main present. However, he has always loved Lego sets and was asking about the red and white Lego plane that he was gifted some time ago but many of the key pieces got lost in a house move. Having said that, he is not one to make a kit up, and then break it up and make it up again.....

His other interests are trains, robotics, cars, football - the usual stuff.

I would quite like to get him a really decent Lego set but no nothing about the funkier, fancier stuff.

Can someone recommend a particular set? Im really pushed for time here!

The Lego Boost sets to build robots that users can code using a smartphone or tablet are great, I bought ds one a couple of years ago, he is 15 now & still plays with it.

I would go for the Switch or the Apple Watch, there’s nothing worse than writing a list and then it not being listened to with adults knowing best.

Lego is a great present, and I’m an adult and build the Architecture sets and love them - but as a child it would never be my ‘main present’. Unless it was a huge value one, and even then I’d rather have had something else with smaller value Lego.
