My FIL is getting a Bosche wire detector thing so you don’t drill into a wire in the wall! And a socket set. So dull but he’s a DIY fan so I’m sure he’ll like it.

an amazon echo and then bits and bobs like socks, a giant tube of jaffa cakes, slippers, a torch. it’s his birthday a week after christmas so he’s so hard to buy for because you have to buy twice. he’s getting a chainsaw for his birthday though 😂

I got some good suggestions on this thread. In the end he asked for a particular CD though, so that's what he's getting! (but also some nice steak from a friend's cow)

A few nights away and a trip to the wee festival theatre for the Xmas show with Dom. They've already been. He also has a bottle of Highland Park and a bottle of Irn Bru 1901 to open on the day.
