Oh wise MN, I posted it this last year but despite a lovely response still never got to the bottom of it....
Iām a sucker for 80ās Christmas films, probably because thatās when I grew up, I think thereās something so magical and obviously now nostalgic about them and I love watching them with my girls and remembering the excitement I felt a child on the build up to Christmas.
There is however one film that I have only seen once, sometime between the ages of 9-13 which for some reason has stayed with me but despite searching year after year cannot find...
(Itās definitely not Prancer 2)
Set in an American city (possibly New York)
Group of poor/under privileged kids find a hurt rein deer and hide it until they know what to do with it.
Some of the kids donāt believe in Santa but somehow they all come together to get the reindeer back to Santa for Christmas Eve, possibly evading authorityās etc
I remember one of the kids had a coke tap in there kitchen, which only ever being allowed squash on a special occasion seemed amazing š
Lots of flares, sitting around on steps to flats, and tight 80ās rainbow stripe tea shirts...
Does anyone remember, or should I just give up and admit it was all a dream! š
