Is £299 switch mario edition good?

I normally check with you all, I hate overpaying. Been looking for a good deal switch and saw mario kart special edition for £299, was this a good deal? No need to break it to me gently if I've been sucked up.

It's about right, I think.
In September I bought a Switch with the extended life battery for £279, no game. Then there was a deal in Argos and Smyths for a game plus Switch for the same, on the old battery model.

Is it with the Mario kart game? If so I would say that’s a good deal. I’ve been looking all over for switch deals as we’ve got the kids another for Christmas and couldn’t find any cheaper than the full £280 so £20 on top for Mario Kart sounds good.

I paid 279 + 40ish for the game separately last month so yes it's probably good. I would just be doubly careful it's the right switch and game in case they are flogging off old versions.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it's the new version but will definitely double check it. I saw it at £279 but didn't have the funds, have been holding out ever since and finally it dropped again so bought it. My budget for each child has was £300 so it's all one is going to get so pleased stuck to budget but so aware about overpaying.
