Quality Street alternative?

I bought and accidentally ate a tin of Quality Street already but it was very disappointing.

Is there a random supermarket version that's worth a go? I seem to remember someone last year recommending an alternative but might be making it up in my desire for chocolatey deliciousness.

Personally I love Cadbury heroes

Sainsburys version.

Contains no palm oil either unlike most of the others.

Heroes are fine but they don't say Christmas to me.

Will give the Sainsbury's ones a go. No palm oil? Hurrah!

M&S used to do a box of similar sweets called ‘The Big Selection’ and they were very good. I haven’t been eating sweets for a long time as on the blood sugar diet, so don’t know if they still do them.
