What exactly can the show do it says about watching films etc how would I go about that? Hopefully someone who has one can help?

We have the large 10 inch show in the kitchen and my son has the smallest show in his room. It's far superior to the dot - obviously looks more substantial, you can see the screen which is nice and clear and you could watch bits and pieces on there if you wanted to

They'd work together yes, if one was in one room and the 2nd in another but no one person would need 2 I don't think. If you're on the fence, go for the Show

As to how to watch a film, just ask it. Make sure you have prime movies or Netflix though! It'll show stuff from YouTube too

The dot is great, have the show downstairs and the dot upstairs.

Yes you can connect Bluetooth headphones

If movies are a priority though I wouldn’t say the show is something to consider, you’ve be better with a tablet. Some of the Amazon Fire tablets can be used in Show mode.

I've got a show in my room and in the kitchen, and have the dot in the hall, living room and kids room. I much prefer the show. Just being able to see my calendar and shopping list and I ask it to play movie trailers etc. Its much better so I think I will get the show for living room and kids room and maybe use the dot for the stereo effect or something.
