Dressing up...

Was just wondering how many people actually dress up for Christmas lunch/dinner. We as a family are relaxed and literally just wear what we want, kids still in pjs if we aren’t leaving the house. So do you dress up....?

Yup. Black tie and party dresses here. Only for dinner for the adults. The kids get in party clothes when we get dressed in the morning.

Always got a new outfit to wear as part of my Christmas so I've always dressed up a bit. PJs go on after dinner! I want nice photos in front of the tree and for everyone to have showers and be clean and presentable. I would feel meh in pjs all day

If out visiting yes, if staying home nope

We all wear new Christmas jumpers on Christmas Day. On Boxing Day we dress up for our family meal at my mothers house

No, PJs all day for us, we don’t have family to visit and it’s a nice break from work commitments

Yes we do. Having dressed the table beautifully, spent ages cooking a fabulous dinner, to turn up in pjs would seem almost disrespectful! Plus our guests would be a tad bemused 😉

I don't usually but I think I will put on a dress this year. I have a pretty tea dress with sequins I bought for a party so it'll be nice to get another wear out of it.
