I’ve had a nosey and couldn’t see a thread already. I’d love to see how others have wrapped the presents this year! Pretty bows, hand made paper, hessian bags, post some pics!
And also inspiration and guidance for those hard to wrap gifts such as footballs, bikes etc!

I have all the pretty accessories etc but they still never look great. Think I’m just rubbish at wrapping!

PinkDaydreams · 10/12/2019 15:33

I always think every year I’m going to make my own paper with brown paper and get decorative but I never do!

Ooh love wrapping presents! My presents for the children in the family are all wrapped to look like elves and the adult presents are wrapped in gold paper with green ribbon and a peacock feather x

@MrsCrimbo74 Wow! Amazing! I think I could have a full day to wrap 1 present and it wouldn’t look as good as those!

@MrsCrimbo74 they’re stunning!!! Far too nice to unwrap

These are mine, I usually try to follow a theme each year.

I use brown paper or a paper based wrapping paper for mine then add an organza ribbon.
I always avoid the foil paper as this can't be recycled.
For a bike I would probably just leave it unwrapped but add a bow/ribbon, for a football I would use an old delivery box and wrap it inside that. A small ball I would wrap like a bon bon.

I just finished wrapping and tying up a gift in a pretty, patterned scarf and I'm very pleased with it! The wrapping then doubles up as a gift in itself.

Wrap a bike using a paper tablecloth or two.

PinkDaydreams · 11/12/2019 08:13

@HoneyBee03 the pretty scarf is such a nice idea! I love the brown Paper parcels with the coloured ribbon/string, they look really sophisticated!
