Gifts - elderly DF

Would like to buy useful and thoughtful couple of things for DF to join with his other gifts.

He is 88, is losing his sight and has other health conditions - his circulations not the best and his fingers "lock" when cold . I wondered whether fingerless gloves would help at all and if so anywhere to buy - I only see ladies ones in stores

The other item I see mentioned on here a lot is a weighted blanket - would this help and where to buy a good one - my only worry if it was to big or cumbersome is that he would trip over it when getting up/moving it.

If you don't mind buying online, there's lots of options for gloves. Something like this may be good? nuovahealth.co.uk/product-category/bodycare/gloves/ . I've seen battery heated gloves too, but these tend to be bulkier so may not be suitable. As for where to buy perhaps an outdoors shop may have some suitable gloves (like ones climbers use).
