For the top of the tree what’s your choice?

hazeyjane · 08/12/2019 21:38

Fairy on front room tree (called Buttons, home made)
Batman on ds's tree
A monkey on dd's tree

Cwenthryth · 08/12/2019 21:39

A glittery gold sunburst thing that originally came from an elaborately overwrapped gift.... to me it’s a sun, but if you squint it could be a star

GrannyBags · 08/12/2019 21:42

Star in lounge, sparkly snowflake on the landing and just lights in dining room.

Petalbird · 08/12/2019 21:44

A metal dragon that stops the tree being straight

Redwinestillfine · 08/12/2019 21:46

Star or fairy?
Shodan · 08/12/2019 21:53

Stars on all of them.

Used to have an angel when I was a child though.

WalkAwaySugarbear · 08/12/2019 21:56

I like a star, always worried me that the fairy/ angel was uncomfortable up there.

MaidenMotherCrone · 08/12/2019 21:58

Another Pagan. We have a pentagram on ours.

popcornpaws · 08/12/2019 22:59

Star on the dining room tree, angel on the hall tree and a bit of glittery egg box with tinsel round it on the livingroom tree that DD made at nursery 20 year ago!

ineedto · 08/12/2019 23:00

Four trees, two stars, one fairy and one dinosaur Xmas Blush

QuestionableMushroom · 08/12/2019 23:06

A great big multicoloured sequin covered bow. It’s tacky as hell and I love it.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 08/12/2019 23:10

sonic the hedgehog or whoever dd decides should guard the tree. we bought a star for our first tree but it broke when taking out of the packaging so sonic was put up there. now it's a tradition to choose a favourite teddy to be on top 😁

Iwantacookie · 08/12/2019 23:12

Angel. Very worn out and looking drunk on top of my tree Grin

beanaseireann · 08/12/2019 23:20

TreacleBee · 08/12/2019 23:23

Big tinsel star from the 70's.

TheTinselrati · 08/12/2019 23:25

This year - llama

SilentBob · 08/12/2019 23:44

My daughter's green woollen knitted, bauble adorned, light-up beanie hat.

Realised a few years ago that we had no topper and improvised. Have since bought toppers but nothing has come close.

She's 21, lives away from home. We have put up and decorated the tree but hat will be put on there when she gets here for Christmas.

TammyKat · 08/12/2019 23:45

Star for us too

Picklypickles · 08/12/2019 23:46

We have one of each and alternate every year, I prefer the star!

Growing up my mum had a robin on top of the tree, he was the best!

RockinHippy · 09/12/2019 09:28

Major Tom, who is a paper maché spaceman DD made a few years ago & we love him
