Magic The Gathering - anyone?

I have no idea what this is but have been asked to ‘get cards’ for Christmas.

Is there a board or something to go with it? A wee pack of swapsies cards looks a bit lame and I don’t want to get the ‘wrong’ packs!

Apparently I went on Amazon last night after some wine...🥴

Guess what just arrived (plus a large cake tin)...

DH used to play magic when he was younger but now sticks to D&D (tonight is game night) and we play co-op board strategy games with friends occasionally, it really is a lot more fun than it sounds and I know DH is hoping DS will pay similar when he's older (there are a lot worse things for teens to be doing!). Your son will love what you've bought for him, he can find deck building advice on forums and YouTube.

Throne of Eldraine bundle is a good call, there's some good value of cards to potentially be had in there. If it helps anyone else, the Game Night product and spellslinger decks are not that good value for money as the cards are not particularly powerful or playable, and you can easily pick up the cards separately for a fraction of the price. We've really struggled to sell these in our shop and we specialise in selling MtG singles!

Standard sized sleeves are also a safe bet for stocking fillers although you may need to do some investigating into what they like as some players are very particular.
