Stocking fillers for DD 5...

sofiathe2nd · 04/12/2019 07:42

Really after some desperate help for stocking fillers. My MIL made my dd a personalised advent calendar, we’re now on day 4 and so far everything she’s had is also something I had bought for her stocking...

So we’ve had/know about

  • mini hole punches
  • highlighters
  • wiggly worm type thing
  • rubbers and other stationery
  • mini Lego
  • socks
  • sewing kit
  • stickers

I’m a little bit gutted as I normally love doing all the bits for her stocking but probably should have checked with her first. Nevertheless and short of spoiling my child rotten... any super original ideas for stocking presents much appreciated

(Aware this might sound like a mil gripe... it’s really not... very grateful to her)

Oh that’s so annoying!

I’m trying to get my daughter stocking stuff today she’s the same age. Ideas I’ve had (haven’t bought all of these!)

Small foldable frisbee (John Lewis)
Moon ball
Fidget cube
Hatchimals mini set
Hair bows and clips
Oil pastels
Polly and the Puffin Christmas book
Shin pads (she does football, but leg warmers or goggles or something like that)
Earmuffs
Lip balm
I always get her a Beanie boo and some food stuff they either like or lot or is usually restricted - she’s had a jar of peanut butter, a small tube of Pringles, this year she’s getting a jar of olives (!) my ds is getting a mini pot noodle, Nutella.
UNO/happy families etc
One of those Playmobil mini sets

Mine is having a card game (Horrid Henry), a mini Polly Pocket, wind up torch, tube of sweets, chocolate coins, wooden spinning top, snow globe (she has a collection), magic flannel, Magic Tree. We've had several Magic Trees over the years at Christmas and they are always so popular and grow really well. Grass Heads go down well too.
