Teetotal nice drinks

I'm not a big drinker anyway but I'll be driving this Christmas. I don't like Diet Coke etc. Does anyone have a drink that feels special and is non alcoholic?

Admittedly, a lot of those are pretty sugary.

Drink plenty of water, or else by the end of the day, your teeth will be furry.

Ginless tonic with one of the nice feverfree gins with ice, lemon etc.

Also has the advantage that you're not obviously not drinking IYKWIM (less relevant if you're the designated driver)

We are into all the non-alcoholic gins with good tonics

I love ginger ale with lime or a non-alcoholic mojito.

Elderflower tonic is lovely and refreshing

I like kombucha and Erdinger low alcohol wheat beer. I’ve found quite a lot of stuff on Ocado, and try searching on Instagram under #dry #sober -type hashtags.

Is sugar a concern? More options if not!

We like Fentimans soft drinks and Belvoir.

Like a PP said Ocado have an excellent selection of non-alcoholic and fancy grown up drinks.

Strawberry or raspberry lemonade. Really tasty with or without alcohol.

Tonic and a slice of lime?

I had a couple of lovely cocktails last night that were also not too sweet...

An iced tea.

A no-jito !! It had elderflower in with plenty of mint. Was lovely.

What's a non alcoholic gin? Is there a good brand?

Mango or raspberry flavoured J2O. Either straight or mixed with lemonade.

Seedlip is a good non alcoholic gin. Expensive. You can try it out at a Pizza Express before you commit to a bottle!

I like the J20 spritzers.

Ribena winter spice served warm is nice.

Sparkling tea.

Ginger ale with orange juice - 50/50 mix.

You can mull apple juice, or appetizer- use it instead of cider in a mulled cider recipe.

If you like non-alcoholic alternatives to alcoholic drinks then dry drinker.com is a good place to start. It has a wide range of non-alcoholic beers, wines, gins prosecco etc. I'll definitely be getting myself some nice non alcoholic 'champagne' for Xmas day.

Lidl Cerocero non alcoholic gin is £10 and as good as seedlip for a lot less

I have discovered Robinson’s Mint and Lime Cordial which when mixed with sparkling water tastes like a virgin mojito. Not expensive either.

Seedlip also make "nogroni" and "aecorn" - other Non-Alcoholic cordials and cocktails
