I’m looking for recommendations for the best family board games for gifts please. One is for two families with three girls and the others are a mix. One family has teenage girls. I purchased monopoly and dobble previously. Any new games out there? Thanks in advance

exploding kittens is always a hit

Monopoly Deal
Trivial Pursuit (the betting version - makes it much more fun as you dont actually have to know the answer)
Rumikub
Banagrams (family favourite here!)
Linkee

Pandemic or ticket to ride.
Labyrinth if younger children

We love exploding kittens the most.

Forbidden desert is also very good.

not really a board game but articulate or logo?

My son got Ticket to ride last year and we've really enjoyed it.

Carcassonne 6+ if played without farmer scoring, which is optional. 10+ Settlers of Catan

Sushi Go is a card game but it’s very good. Also love Pandemic but I think that’s more for older kids and adults. Magic Maze is fun. I think there might be a kids version of it too.

Basically, any game is better than monopoly!

Thank you all so much for your recommendations. I have ordered quirkle and like the look of ticket to ride!

Cobra Paw went down well here. Quite a quick and easy one. Not exactly a board game but fun.

+1 vote for Ticket to Ride :)

We've played Just One a few times after playing at a games exhibition, good fun and it's a collaborative game so no winners and losers. Definitely a keeper!
