Smart watches?

Has anyone bought one for their dc? Any good? Dc are 8 and nearly 6 and I was thinking of getting smart watches for them but now not so sure. Have tried to keep eldest especially away from tech as he gets very obsessive, but I think it'll be tough to hold it off much longer...

Bought them for neice and nephew last year (well Fitbit’s).

They never wear them, and lost the chargers🙄

As a primary teacher who despairs at the number of children who don't know how to tell the time on an analogue clock, I would strongly suggest you get them a "normal" watch.

Eldest has a normal watch and a special tell the time clock. Still can't
5yo can though! Hmm, yes I was thinking it sounds a waste of money.

I've ditched the watch idea and am getting him a kano instead
