Hi I am thinking of getting a fitbit style watch for my daughter, not to sure whether to get kids one, or go more for an adult one, thanks in advance Flowers

Ooh watching with interest.

I would get her an adult one at 12 - something like a Fitbit Charge that isn't too big and also has straps that can be changed.

I’ve just ordered DS a Fitbit Inspire HR from Currys. I’m not sure of the price on its own but I bought it as part of a bundle including a kids Fitbit for DD for £100. If you do buy from Currys then go via top cash back as they are offering 15% cash back on Fitbits.

The Fitbit ace is £49.99 at the minute I've just got it for my 10 year old,

I've got DD 11 at Fitbit Versa. There is a new Versa 2 out so the original is reduced to £130 on Amazon. She wants one that's got a square face. They do short straps so should fit fine.

My 12 year old has an adult one and loves it.

The inspire is £49 on amazon black Friday if you don't want heart rate monitoring.

I haven't tried it in the pool but it says it works.

The flex definitely works for swimming but it only counts it if you swim for 10 continuous minutes

The inspire does have a stopwatch function I think

I have seen an Argos 'own brand' Fitbit with lots of different straps might be worth looking at

The kids fitbit is(ace) waterproof, unfortunately Dds swim club don't allow them to wear watches in the pool. It is £49.99 at argos and amazon.
